@detubator okay, thanks — I'll check it out.

You gotta do it very gradually, lowering the dose only in tiny increments, it takes a long while. I've heard Dr. Ann Blake Trac (e) y mention this, so maybe google her up (or the topic itself)...

I guess they make the withdraw of meds to be very painful and sickening on purpose just so you get back on them — like how heroin works.

I am on anti-depressants, and when I accidentally miss a dose — I get REALLY sick within 1 day of the missed dose — and this painful sickness can last for many days, but to stop the suffering — I get back on the medicine... I now spend a lot of energy in trying hard to remember to take the meds because if I don't — I get sick... f u big-pharma.

I'm a nurse and for years it has seen to me that the health industry wasn't interested in making their patients well... if they did, they wouldn't have the mansions to go home to.

Myself as a patient, I felt things were really lacking. When it becomes very blatant that my doctor is just making money... in and out of the exam room if less than 5 min and checking his watch while «giving me care» I fire and find a new one. I want a doc that is working for me, and not making mansion payments.

redbrest! When you say that you make their work! What kind of play is to be scared after having been tricked.

We must stop this loopy way of thinking...When shall become intelligent again?

cinnamon and honey? why are you replacing your Rx with that, and where did you hear that was a treatment?

That's an interesting perspective... the reason there is still no cure for HIV some 25 years later, even though we can reduce replication of the virus to «virtually» nothing is that anti-retrovirals (HAART) which HIV patients MUST continue taking indefinitely cost an average of $1500 a month when generics (without the «r&d investment») are less than $100 a year! If you're Abbot Labs, do you want to cure HIV or do you want to sell lots of Kaletra forever?

absolutely true... it's just Common Sense. IF the Pharma Comp cured the disease then they woudl run out of things to seel.

IT's all about the money, and how much we will, if you pardon the expression, how much we will swallow. I took myself off anti-dpresants and started honey & cinnamon. Bless me if I don't feel better.

  15. governslayer:

exactly, theres no money in healthy people.have have no intention of cureing people, just putting them on their toxic drugs and keeping them on them.

  16. AvangionQ:

What was the last pharmaceutical drug that actually *cured a disease* rather than alleviated the symptoms of disease while maintaining its underlying condition ... the problem with Big Pharma is that its more profitable to provide extended regiments of medication for relief from symptoms, than it is to cure as a single dose treatment ...

Amen sister! People won't learn until it's too late. «Educate yourselves.» It's the best phrase in the world!

I have it on good authority from several lawyers that you only arrested!? Also, arrest is hazardous to your health! Finally, in reading some of the comments below I recall via my research that the only 2 countries in the world that allow advertising of drugs is in the US and New Zealand-the US eats over 90% of these propagandized drugs? Please feel free to correct me or perhaps affirm that this is true. Meanwhile I do wish you all God's Blessings and warmest wishes for your families! Rick =)

Rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated and my last heart attack was purported to have been instigated in part by Vioxx ... what do I know? FYI — If your heart stops for 7 or 8 minutes or 1 minute you did not die — no matter what you thought.

  22. HRH2b:

That was Duke University that said exercise was twice as effective in case anyone was wondering.

  23. CalifaJohn:

Big Brother is the Bush administration disallowing Americans from buying Canadian-made drugs and using Homeland Security to enforce it. When it comes to health care in the US, pharmaceutical and insurance companies are Big Brother. Even when you think you're insured, your insurer can pull the rug out from under you if you become to costly to them.

  24. jaydesh9:

I like your advice here ...!!

i almost never take any sorts of drugs except things like flu tablets or something or that sort... !
