Nobody is asking medical personnel to work for free. The idea is that the government sees to their payment instead of your insurance company. The doctor still gets payed, but he gets payed out of a large, government pot of gold that everyone chips in to, because everyone has an interest in good medical care. Besides, it's not like doctors wouldn't be able to pursue a career in the private sector in case they didn't think the government payed enough.

The richest 10% of taxpayers pay for 67% of the nations tax bill. The richest 60% pays for 100% of the tax bill which actually means the bottom 40% remove more from the system than they contribute. So who exactly do you plan on burning down?
Buying health care is a right. Forcing others to pay for your health care is not. This is not rocket science. We have gun rights. That doesn't mean the government has to provide us with guns.
